We are seeking a Compliance Training Lead to manage and lead compliance training across our Transport and Infrastructure AU business. In this role you will ensure compliance training obligations are being met. This includes the competency systems, critical risk and training, and the interface with Downer Group mandatory training.

Working with the wider People & Culture and operational business, you will develop strong relationships to ensure an in-depth understanding of the workforce training and compliance needs. You will implement this knowledge to lead your team and rive effective coordination of training to meet business requirements.

About you:

An authentic leader one that motivates and drives a high performing team and encourages a collaborative and inclusive culture. You will also have:
  • A strong working knowledge of learning/training within the civil construction industry. Knowledge of the Australian training framework would also be desirable
  • Leadership experience in a fast-paced, high-volume organisation delivering in a complex internal training environment
  • Well-developed written and oral communication style
  • Ability to develop and foster strong and trusted working relationships at all levels
  • Previous knowledge of Learning Management Systems desirable
