Job Details

We are seeking a Senior Mill Trainer to join our dynamic team in the Mill Operations department at Rosebel Gold Mines. As a Senior Mill Trainer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs to ensure our Mill Operations run efficiently and effectively.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Design and implement training modules for mill operators and technicians
  • Conduct hands-on training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Assess training needs and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs
  • Collaborate with the Mill department to identify areas for improvement
  • Maintain training records and documentation


The ideal candidate will have:
  • Senior Secondary school diploma.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in process plant operations, with 3 years in a gold process training role.
  • Train-The-Trainer Certification and first Aid/CPR Certification.
  • Strong knowledge of mill equipment and processes.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid Suriname Drivers' license.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English, Mandarin language is an asset.
  • Willingness to work on a rotational schedule of 14 days of work followed by 7 days break.
