Hatch is looking to engage a Finance Analyst on a full-time permanent basis to assist with the preparation of management accounts, analysis and reporting for the Australia-Asia (AUA) region. This integral role sits within the Management Reporting team and will see you undertaking critical financial analysis to support decision-making, growth and performance.

With the opportunity to work closely with all areas of the business, you will be a self-starter with critical thinking and have the ability to work autonomously.

The role is based out of Hatch's Australia Asia Head office - Brisbane city, in a well-appointed location close to public transport and handy amenities.

Primary responsibilities of the role include:

• Provide monthly and ad hoc reporting, budget and trend variance analysis and commentary to management as required.
  

• Perform high-level and detailed analysis on financial performance and investigations.
  

• Project set up compliance with corporate policies and project commercial oversight.
  

• Actively involved in major project monthly reviews and assist with project tenders.
  

• Participate in the ongoing management of financial systems.
  

• Preparation of Joint Venture accounts.
  

We're seeking a great communicator with strong interpersonal skills, who enjoys learning and can think on their feet to logically work through problems and provide solutions.

You will also possess:

• Ability to apply relevant analytical tools and techniques to effectively analyse and interpret a wide range of organizational data to support decision making.
  

• High level proficiency with Microsoft Excel and databases/systems.
  

• Unlimited work rights in Australia.
  

A bachelor's degree in finance - with professional accounting membership (CA, CPA or similar)/working towards will be viewed favourable.
