MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12
Facilitator and Assessors Certificate
Moderators certificate advantageous
Relevant MQA Assessor registration / scope of work
Blasting Ticket
Relevant MQA Skills program Certificate
South African Driver's License
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
5 years in An Underground production environment at supervisory level
3 years of Assessment experience as a registered assessor
5 Years of Underground Trackless Mining experience at Training Officer Level
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducting training needs analysis in an area of responsibility
Follow training plan and schedule training interventions in-line with operational requirements
Follow training systems, templates and learning material in-line with training and development procedures
Facilitate Mining training sessions and use a variety of facilitation methods to cater for different types of learning styles (Role Play, Video, Simulation, SMEs etc.)
Conduct formative, summative and RPL assessments through observations
Compile POEs according to training and development procedures.
Coach learners as and when required.
Generate required departmental training reports and develop skills matrixes for the area of responsibility.
Create and follow-up training events
Conduct on the Job Coaching for Skills development and Skills Transfer Candidates
