We are looking for a Junior Accountantto join our Travel and Expenses team in Vilnius.

Position's purpose and areas of responsibility

• Review and approve expense reimbursement requests according to global, local policies and legislation requirements, ensure all transactions are recorded correctly;
• Cooperate with the Corporate Card administrators to ensure all card transactions are recorded correctly in the accounting systems;
• Perform verification and reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts;
• Participate in period-close procedures;
• Provide high quality services according to KPIs, agreed controls, policies and procedures, etc;
• Support teamwork, collaboration and consistency across all sites and functions;
• Execute all other position related tasks delegated by direct manager

Basic requirements for the position

• Basic accounting understanding
• Higher education degree in Finance/Accounting is preferred
• Customer service mindset
• Fast learner
• Teamwork and co-operation skills in a cross-cultural organization
• Fluency in English is mandatory, skills in Spanish language are seen as an advantage
• SAP and other accounting software and databases experience would be an advantage
