Rosebel Gold Mines isseeking two (2) Junior Geologists to join our Regional Exploration department.

As a Junior Geologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our geological exploration and data analysis efforts.

In this role, you will work closely with senior geologists to collect and interpret geological data, conduct field surveys, and assist in the development of geological models. You will also be responsible for preparing reports and presentations based on your findings.The ideal candidate will have a passion for geology, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Support senior geologists in geological exploration activities
• Collect and analyze geological data
• Assist in the development of geological models
• Prepare reports and presentations based on findings

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field.
• Minimum of1 year of related work experience.
• Strong knowledge of geological mapping and sampling techniques.
• Proficiency in geological software and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English and speaking knowledge of Sranan Tongo.
• Willingness to work on a rotational schedule of 14 days of work (Monday to Friday) followed by 7 days break.
• Willingness to travel to remote exploration sites.
  
• Valid driver's license.
