Hire Resolve's client, is currently seeking a talented Environmental Consultant to join their mining team based in the Western Cape.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental assessments and impact studies for mining projects in WC.
• Develop and implement environmental management plans to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Provide expert advice on environmental risks and mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify environmental improvement opportunities.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in environmental legislation.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor environmental performance.
• Prepare and present reports on environmental findings and recommendations.

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Degree in Environmental Science/Geological Sciences
• Project Management Certificate (Advantageous).
• 5 years' experience in conducting impact assessments specifically within the mining industry.
• 5 years' experience in environmental auditing.
• Extensive knowledge in environmental and mining legislation.
• Valid Drivers' License
