Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a Medium Term Planner to join their mining company based in Northern Cape. This role is essential for planning and optimizing production processes to support the operational objectives of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a medium-term planning schedule that aligns with the mine's production goals.
• Coordinate with different departments to ensure all aspects of production are adequately planned, including manpower, materials, and equipment resources.
• Analyze production data to optimize schedules and improve efficiency.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate planning objectives and production schedules to management.
• Monitor progress and resolve any scheduling conflicts or issues that arise during operations.
• Work closely with mining engineers to incorporate best practices in planning.
• Participate in strategic planning meetings to provide insights and recommendations based on planning analysis.

Requirements

• Grade 12
• National Diploma/Degree in Mining Engineering
• Blasting Certificate for Surface Mines
• 8 years' experience in surface mining.
• 5 years' experience in mine planning.
• Knowledge in geological modelling data software, mine planning software (Qlikview, MineStar, CEAS, Qmaster)
• Valid Drivers' License
