Senior Accountant

A rare opportunity has arisen for an Accountant seeking a residential assignment to have the best of both worlds; the inflated financial rewards of an overseas assignment coupled with the ability to live with one’s family in comfort, near a major city.

Our client, a significant gold mining company with multiple assets, currently seeks to grow their team and refine their finance systems and processes during a period of positive change and development.

Reporting to Finance Manager, the purpose of the position will be to manage and improve the efficiency of financial reporting, financial controls and month end procedures while coaching a national team. Supporting the Finance Manager will give the incumbent access to a broad range of skills as they seek to enhance the quality of reporting for head office and the board.

The successful candidate will be a Chartered Accountant with 1-5 years’ post qualification experience. We are considering a broad experience range because our main focus at interview will be team fit and technical competence within IFRS and reporting.
