Associate Principal Electrification Consultant - Nordics

Are you an electrical engineer with consulting experience within the Nordics?

Do you have consulting experience within heavy industry to include mining, oil and gas, and renewables?

We are working with a global, multibillion-euro company who are leaders in providing technology, software and services to improve the way their customers manage and automate their operations. Due to the promotions and growth within the Process Electrification Consulting Practice they are looking for an Associate Principal Electrification Consultant to be based in the Nordics.

The Process Electrification Consulting Practice is a global organisation with the mission to bring all of the clients acts together to provide unprecedented, end-to-end support to customers to achieve their sustainable transformations through the electrification of their processes. The mission of this role is to establish and grow the electrification consulting services business in the region.

Key responsibilities for this Associate Principal Electrification Consultant are:

• Lead generation - develop new business relationships and maintain and grow existing ones.
• Sales Process - Accountable for the sales process, from customer engagement to deal closure.
• Margins - Responsible to drive margin expansion in alignment with the organisation requirements.
• Pitching and winning - drive the pitching process and deal closing for case work to include; prepare pitching materials, serve as single point of contact, contract drafting, and project staffing.
• Project management - coordinate a project team of technical consultants to advise client on their electrification strategy from conceptual to basic design, be the key interface with clients, provide project oversight, challenge work in process, and managed project budget.
• Knowledge management - contribute to the growth of the knowledge development within the team, by working closely with the knowledge management team to identify gaps and develop new methodologies, tools and assets.

Essential experience

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar.
• 10+ years of experience in electrification consulting / management consulting and / or a client facing role in electrification-related services.
• A strong track record of developing strong client relationships with C-levels of large organisations.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and guide junior members in their consulting skill sets, motivate them, and build the consulting team's foundation for future growth.
• Previous consulting experience within the Nordics in heavy industry ie. mining, renewables, oil and gas.
