About the role

We are looking for a Superintendent Planning to join the Rail Maintenance Integration team based at 7 Mile, Karratha. Leading Track Maintenance Planning for Rail Maintenance, the Superintendent Planning will drive excellence throughout the planning processes ensuring accurate and executable work banks are managed, planned and delivered

Working FIFO or Residential on a 5:2 4:3 roster reporting to the Manager Rail Maintenance Integration, you will:
  • Lead, inspire and develop a diverse high performing team, ensuring best practice Asset Management processes are implemented and executed
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities, driving a continuous improvement culture.
  • Collaborate closely with a complex group of stakeholders and functions to deliver quality outcomes including SCS Asset Management, Engineering and Execution teams
  • Input execution parametres into the Quarterly Forecast
  • Establish, monitor and report on key metrics to drive optimised plans for improved asset availability and reliability

What you'll Bring
  • WA "C Class" drivers' licence
  • Experience in leading Maintenance Planning and Scheduling process
  • Proficient in SAP, Prometheus and MS Office.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills
  • Demonstrated experience managing teams
  • Ongoing commitment to personal safety and safety of your teams
  • Experience managing complex programs of work
  • Demonstrated experience translating technical data to practical executable documents
  • Ability to work in high pressure environments

Where you will be working

This role will be based at our 7 Mile operation out of Dampier, a short drive from the heart of Karratha. Karratha is a coastal town, situated in WA's Pilbara region, which boasts a strong 'community' feel..
