We are currently seeking an experienced AHS Mine Controller to join a leading gold mining operation on a 7/7 FIFO roster from Perth.
Reporting to the Supervisor Mine Control, you will play a critical role in managing central communications and dispatch activities across an active open pit mining operation. This position is ideal for an experienced Mine Controller who thrives in a fast-paced control room environment and has a strong commitment to safety, operational efficiency, and real-time decision making.

The Opportunity
Working within the AHS Mine Control team, you will monitor fleet movements, coordinate haulage activities, and ensure accurate production data is captured while supporting safe and efficient mining operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Control and coordinate central communications across the open pit mining operation.
- Dispatch and monitor haulage equipment to maximise operational efficiency.
- Continuously monitor and validate production and fleet data for accuracy and integrity.
- Ensure mining activities align with the mine plan and dispatch strategy.
- Maintain accurate operational records and reporting within the fleet management system.
- Liaise with Mining Supervisors, Operators and Planning teams to support daily production targets.
- Respond effectively to operational changes and prioritise resources accordingly.
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with site procedures.
About You
- 2-3+ years' experience in a AHS Mine Controller
- Previous experience within an open pit mining operation.
- Demonstrated experience using MineStar Command, MineStar Fleet, or similar fleet management systems (essential).
- Experience working in a AHS mine control room environment.
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions in a high-pressure operational environment.
- Current WA Class C Driver's Licence.
- Full Australian working rights.
