Position Overview
The Exploration Analyst supports the Corporate Exploration team by managing reporting processes, assisting in development of executive-level presentations, maintaining analytical tools, coordinating and improving information flow across multiple operating sites to ensure consistency. This role is ideal for a highly organized, self-motivated professional with exceptional Excel and PowerPoint skills who enjoys transforming complex information into clear, accurate, decision-ready deliverables.
Success in this role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What Will Make Someone Successful in This Role
The salary range offered for this role is $90,000 - $100,000. The salary range is a good-faith estimate. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. - Assist in maintaining high-quality executive, management, and board-level presentations.
- Transform technical information into clear, concise, visually compelling communications.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and professional formatting across all reporting materials.
- Coordinate contributions from multiple stakeholders and incorporate feedback efficiently.
- Improve the clarity, consistency, and visual quality of exploration communications, presentations, and reporting materials.
- Apply corporate standards and best practices for information design and executive communications.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Consolidate and analyze exploration data from multiple operations and projects.
- Maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and professional formatting across all reporting materials.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking activities.
- Develop, maintain, and improve Excel-based reporting tools and templates.
- Leverage modern analytics and reporting technologies to streamline workflows and improve data accessibility.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate recurring reporting processes.
- Support development and maintenance of financial tracking tools and reporting systems.
- Create documentation and standards to improve efficiency and consistency.
Coordination & Project Support
- Serve as a liaison between corporate and site teams for reporting and information requests.
- Track deliverables and ensure deadlines are met.
- Support strategic planning activities, technical sessions, and special projects.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Engineering, Earth Sciences, or a related field.
- Advanced Excel skills including data analysis, data visualization and reporting.
- Advanced PowerPoint skills with the ability to create executive-ready presentations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Preferred
- Experience supporting executive or leadership-level reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exploration, mining, natural resources, or engineering industry experience.
