The Financial Controller — Mining Operations is accountable for the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of the Company’s financial reporting, forecasting and cost control, owns the cost control framework, contributes to and reviews the annual budget, and is responsible for ensuring full compliance with IFRS as endorsed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by SOCPA, the Companies Law, and ZATCA zakat, tax and e-invoicing requirements.

The role is the financial control point between the Company’s corporate accounting function and its mining operations. It converts operational data — volumes moved, equipment hours, fuel burn, consumables and manpower — into reliable unit-cost and margin information at contract, pit and cost-centre level, and provides the Senior Finance Manager and Senior Management with the analysis needed to price work, control cost and protect contract profitability.

The role acts as a key business partner to Operations, Mine Planning, Maintenance, Procurement and Contracts Administration, and leads and develops the site and head-office accounting team. To establish that operational grounding, the job holder will be based at the mine site for the first three (3) months of employment.
