In this role, you will be the backbone of our mobile and structural maintenance operations. You'll tackle high-stakes welding and structural repair on massive surface mining gear—from giant electric shovels and blast hole drills to haul truck fleets and critical shop construction projects.

In this role, you will be the backbone of our mobile and structural maintenance operations. You'll tackle high-stakes welding and structural repair on massive surface mining gear—from giant electric shovels and blast hole drills to haul truck fleets and critical shop construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expert Metalwork & Metallurgy: Analyze structural failures, evaluate metal properties, and determine the exact welding procedures required for long-lasting, high-stress repairs.
- All-Position Welding & Fabrication: Execute high-integrity welds in all positions (Vertical, Overhead, MIG, TIG, Air Arc, and Wire Feed) directly from blueprints, schematics, or custom field layouts.
- Mastery of the Craft: Design, layout, fit, and fabricate structural steel and high-wear components with minimal supervision.
- Rigging & Heavy Support: Safely operate high-capacity shop and field equipment, including overhead cranes, boom trucks, forklifts, and precision measuring tools.
- Safety & Autonomy: Champion a strict safety culture, completing MSHA/OSHA protocols and operating safely around cutting-edge Autonomous Haulage Equipment.
