Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our Brisbane team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment and enjoys partnering with managers to navigate complex people matters.
About the Role
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will play a key role in supporting leaders across the business on a broad range of employee relations and industrial relations matters. This position is heavily focused on providing practical, commercial advice while ensuring compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and enterprise agreements.
This role is based full-time in our Brisbane office and works closely with operational and corporate stakeholders across Australia.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and support on employee relations and workplace matters.
- Lead and support workplace investigations, disciplinary processes, and performance management matters.
- Manage grievances and complaints while ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
- Coach and develop leaders in best-practice people management.
- Interpret and provide advice on employment legislation, modern awards, enterprise agreements, and company policies.
- Assist with industrial relations matters, including consultation processes and dispute resolution.
- Support organisational change initiatives, restructures, and workforce planning activities.
- Prepare HR documentation, correspondence, and investigation reports.
- Monitor emerging employment law developments and recommend practical solutions to the business.
- Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Industrial Relations, Law, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in a HR Advisor, Employee Relations Advisor, or HR Business Partner role.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial instruments.
- Demonstrated experience managing employee relations cases from end to end.
- Excellent investigation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to influence leaders at all levels.
- Experience within mining, construction, engineering, manufacturing, or other blue-collar industries will be highly regarded.
