Responsibilities
- Operate long hole drilling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Complete drilling activities in line with production schedules and mine plans.
- Conduct pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks.
- Accurately record drilling data and production information.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and equipment care.
- Adhere to site procedures, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the underground operations team.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Long Hole Driller in an underground mining environment.
- Experience operating Sandvik or equivalent long hole drill rigs.
- Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Current and valid driver's licence.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
