Redpath Mining is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our team on the Cowal Gold Project, supporting a large and diverse fleet of Sandvik underground mining equipment. This is a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance and availability of critical production assets in a high‑performance mining environment.
The Opportunity
As the Maintenance Planner, you'll take ownership of planning, scheduling and coordinating maintenance activities across our underground fleet, including development drills, production drills, loaders, trucks and ancillary equipment. You'll work closely with site maintenance, operations and OEM partners to drive efficiency, minimise downtime and support safe, productive mining.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage short‑, medium‑ and long‑term maintenance plans for Sandvik underground equipment
- Coordinate planned work, shutdowns and component changeouts
- Maintain accurate CMMS data, work orders, parts forecasting and backlog management
- Liaise with maintenance supervisors, trades, operations and OEM reps
- Analyse equipment performance and reliability trends to support continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with Redpath's safety, maintenance and operational standards
Qualifications
About You
- Experience as a Maintenance Planner in underground mining or heavy industry
- Strong understanding of Sandvik underground equipment (preferred)
- Proficiency with maintenance planning systems
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem‑solving skills
- A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to equipment reliability
