Mine Manager (3.1 appointment - Gold Mining)

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Mine Manager to take 3.1 accountability within an established underground gold mining operation. We are looking for a technically strong mining leader who understands both conventional and mechanised mining environments and can translate extensive underground experience into safe, efficient and sustainable production. Genuine gold mining and stoping experience is essential.

• Mining Engineering Degree or recognised equivalent qualification
• GCC(Mine and works) & MMCC - 3.1 appointment - non negotiable
• Extensive underground gold mining experience
• Proven experience in conventional stoping and mechanised/TMM mining
• Strong understanding of narrow-vein gold mining, production, ground conditions, dilution and ore extraction
• Proven Mine Manager/3.1-level leadership experience with responsibility for safety, production, people and costs
