Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate heavy and mobile mining production equipment in accordance with mine safety standards.
- Maintenance & Support: Monitor equipment performance, perform routine preventative maintenance, and assist with troubleshooting in the mine environment.
- Site Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a safe, clean, and environmentally sound work area, reporting any operational deviations to mine management.
- Teamwork: Maintain clear communication with coworkers and supervisors, and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Experience: Experience operating heavy mobile equipment in a mining, industrial, or heavy construction environment preferred.
- Safety & Maintenance: Strong commitment to workplace safety regulations and basic mechanical/preventative maintenance skills.
Salary range
- $25 - $32 per hour
