Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a HR Services Specialist to join the Human Resources team. The HR Services Specialist performs a variety of HR administrative processes and tasks including employee record-keeping and employee-facing customer service. Often handles sensitive employee and company information, which requires that they maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Focuses on data integrity, definitions and integrations across systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out complex HR data processing tasks; advise colleagues when needed and use expertise to help improve data collection tools and administration processes.
- Prepare moderately complex documents using a variety of computer applications such as Microsoft Office. Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for reports.
- Validate, input and maintain time entry systems and process to support the accurate and efficient delivery of payroll services.
- Build effective working relationships within the internal client organization, delivering high-quality professional services.
- Maintain document management system to manage sensitive employee and company information.
- Resolve complex queries from internal or external customers by providing information on policies and/or procedures, referring the most complex issues to others.
- Initiate and monitor the administration of onboarding and/or offboarding processes to ensure that all processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
- Develop knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards. Obtain authorization from a supervisor or manager for any exceptions.
- Provide instruction and informal advice to less experienced colleagues within the team to develop their skills.
- Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching. Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
- Prepare or maintain records related to Leaves, using human resources management system software.
- Communicate the company's Leave benefit programs regarding plan options, features, enrollment, and other requirements.
- Interpret and explain company Leaves policies, procedures, standards, and / or plan documents to employees and leadership.
- Provides support for core HR programs, projects (including planning, administration/execution and tracking of outcomes), communications and platforms.
- Acts with attention to detail, delivering accurate work within timeframes and service level expectations.
- Maintains Knowledge Base and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Prepare or maintain employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software.
- Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
- 2-5 years in an office setting required
- High level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required
- Experience with a multi-line phone system preferred
- Video conference experience preferred
- Precious experience facilitating for large groups preferred
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associates or bachelor's degree preferred
