Extractive Search are exclusively retained to find an OHS Manager for a multinational gold mining company. Reporting to the GM, this is a senior leadership position and you will be leading a large team and have full responsibility for a flagship gold mine in Côte d’Ivoire. This senior role will train, coach and mentor a growing team through all phases of expansion, construction, commissioning and operations. The role is pivotal in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of a multinational workforce and will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of OHS systems, fostering a culture of safety excellence from the ground up. The position is offered on a 6/3 roster with business-class flights, an excellent remuneration package and long-term career growth. Ideally the successful candidate will have a minimum of 15 years’ experience in open pit and underground mining operations with some management experience in Africa or a similar environment.
