Endurance's Abra Mine is located approximately 220km north of Meekatharra, in the Gascoyne region of Western Australia. The underground mine represents one of the world's cleanest and largest lead-silver projects.
The Opportunity
We're seeking a Project Mine Geologist to join our Mining team at Abra Mine Site. Reporting to the Senior Mine Geologist, you will provide key technical advice, modelling, drill planning and implementation, and in-mine methodology for our underground mining centre - with a clear path to step into a Senior Geologist capacity as you grow.

The Opportunity
We're seeking a Project Mine Geologist to join our Mining team at Abra Mine Site. Reporting to the Senior Mine Geologist, you will provide key technical advice, modelling, drill planning and implementation, and in-mine methodology for our underground mining centre - with a clear path to step into a Senior Geologist capacity as you grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the development of grade control and underground procedures, and generate, design and implement grade control drilling programs
- Complete core logging and help improve core data systems
- Develop, maintain and continuously improve geological interpretations of the Abra ore system
- Assist with the generation, development and maintenance of grade control databases and block models
- Report on geological activities to the Senior Mine Geologist and Geology Superintendent, including end of month reports, key statistics and reconciliation data
- Develop geological projects that improve life of mine, reduce cost per ore tonne and deepen our understanding of the Abra ore system
- Assist with mine forecasting and scheduling, QAQC tracking and lab audits
- Supervise and train Geological Technicians, Graduate Geologists and Mine Geologists, and fulfil Senior Mine Geologist duties in their absence
- Minimum 5 years' experience within the resources industry, including 2+ years in an underground environment
- Exposure to base metal deposits
- Proficiency in geological modelling software, with experience using Leapfrog Geo highly regarded
- An advanced understanding of ore-forming processes and 3D modelling techniques
- A sound understanding of data management and validation processes
- Strong numerical, analytical and communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Geology, Applied Geology or a similar field
- Current 'C' Class Western Australian driver's licence
- 4x4 competency
- Awareness of the Mines Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations
