Sustainability and ESG Analyst

Job Description

Reporting all sustainability / ESG topics to the Global Tax Manager (no tax experience is or will likely be required), the analyst supports the day-to-day administration of the Redpath's Sustainability initiatives, performing functions such as:

• Coordinate with regions / Business Units to effectively gather and collate data required for corporate sustainability and ESG reporting;
• Prepare and submit the Corporate Sustainability (European Sustainability Reporting Standards and EU Taxonomy) filings including Reporting all sustainability / ESG topics to the Global Tax Manager (no tax experience is or will likely be required), the analyst supports the day-to-day administration of the Redpath's Sustainability initiatives, performing functions such as:
• Coordinate with regions / Business Units to effectively gather and collate data required for corporate sustainability and ESG reporting;
• Prepare and submit the Corporate Sustainability (European Sustainability Reporting Standards and EU Taxonomy) filings including preparing supporting working papers as needed;
• Manage and coordinate Sustainability & ESG materiality assessments and stakeholder reviews;
• Assist with audit / assurance process (in coordination with external service providers and regulatory authorities);
• Draft and edit documents, presentations and other materials to update the leadership, clients and fellow employees on Redpath's sustainability/ESG progress;
• Work with international offices on regulatory reporting requirements around Sustainability & ESG in various jurisdictions;
• Assist with required Sustainability and ESG disclosures in the tendering process and to address other inquiries arising from Redpath's clients;
• Coordinate with corporate communications to keep marketing materials and Redpath's website up to date on sustainability initiatives and statistics;
• Participate in ad hoc projects on various topics. preparing supporting working papers as needed;

Responsibilities

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in a relevant field (English, Communications and/or Sustainability)
• 2+ years of Sustainability/ESG experience preferably with European Standards exposure
• Proficiency in computer software such as Microsoft Office and an interest in learning the necessary software reporting tool
• Project management training and/or experience
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Ability to manage urgent and potentially conflicting deadlines

Travel Requirements:

• Position may require 20% travel - domestic and international
