Extractive Search have been retained by a well-established multinational gold mining company to conduct a confidential search for a Technical Services Manager for a cornerstone operation in British Columbia. Reporting to the Mine Operations Manager, you'll play an integral role; responsible for short and long term mine planning, scheduling, health and safety, quality control, reporting and management of the technical team. The role would suit an experienced mining engineer with a strong background in ore reserve estimation, pit optimization, LOM planning, Tailings Storage Facility planning and construction. within large open pit operations. Experience with Whittle and being registered as a Professional Engineer is beneficial as well as a solid understanding of the strategic planning which entails to Mine / Pit Optimization. The remuneration package is highly competitive and a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off roster is available.
