JENNMAR Services is currently seeking Experienced Underground Coal Mine Trackmen for full-time positions in the Claysville, Prosperity and Aleppo, PA areas.
A valid Pennsylvania Black Hat (PABH) certification is REQUIRED.
We are looking for experienced, safety-focused miners with hands-on knowledge of underground track installation, maintenance, repair and recovery.

Additional underground experience is a plus, including diesel locomotive operation, mantrip operation, scoop/utility operation, welding/cutting, diesel maintenance, belt work, outby work and material handling.

Trackman Experience
Qualified candidates should have experience with underground mine track work, including:
- Laying and pulling rail
- Track installation, maintenance and repair
- Track recovery
- Bending and cutting rail
- Building, installing and maintaining switches
- Gauging and aligning track
- Leveling and securing rail
- Identifying and correcting unsafe track conditions
- Loading, unloading and handling rail, ties and track materials
- Working safely around underground haulage and rail systems
- Using hand tools, power tools and equipment associated with track work
Additional underground experience is a plus, including diesel locomotive operation, mantrip operation, scoop/utility operation, welding/cutting, diesel maintenance, belt work, outby work and material handling.
Requirements
- Valid Pennsylvania Black Hat (PABH) certification - REQUIRED
- Previous underground coal mining experience
- Underground track/rail experience strongly preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Strong understanding of underground mine safety practices
- Ability to work effectively as part of an underground crew
- Ability to regularly lift 50-75 pounds throughout the shift
- Ability to regularly lift and work above shoulder/head level
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in underground conditions
- Ability to work various shifts, weekends and holidays as required
- Must meet all company, customer and regulatory requirements
