Who we are: Hudbay is a Canadian integrated mining company with operations, development properties and exploration activities across the Americas principally focused on the discovery, production and marketing of base and precious metals.

The Opportunity: We are seeking an Underground Ramp Maintainer for our Lalor Mine. Located near Snow Lake, Manitoba, it is a major, long-life operation primarily producing Zinc, Gold, Copper, Silver, with ore processed at the nearby Stall and New Britannia Mills.

Schedule:

• The successful candidate will work 11.5hr steady dayshifts on a 7/7 (Wednesdays-Tuesdays), schedule. Please note this is not a FIFO opportunity, employees are responsible for their own transportation to and from Snow Lake. To support you, we offer a fully equipped camp and a quarterly travel allowance.(some restrictions apply)

Responsibilities:

• Operate Graders, Scooptrams and Haul Trucks to maintain the mine haulage for both underground and surface operations.
• Maintain sump pumps and manage dust control

Prerequisites:

• Previous experience as a heavy equipment operator is required

Compensation:

• Base Earnings

Hourly Rate:$39.94/hr Underground Bonus: Additional$8.00-11.00/hr on average

• Shift Premiums:

Weekend Premium: + $1.00/hr
