The Role

Reporting to the VP Global Asset Management & Technology, you will lead the practice of capital project management enabling the safe, efficient and effective delivery of capital projects across the Incitec Pivot Group. You will leverage your deep expertise as a project practitioner to be the global owner of the IPLG Project Management System (PMS) and influence the improvement of associated systems (e.g. CAPEX, Procurement). A crucial aspect of the role will be assuring, coaching on and promoting the uptake of the Project Management System. It will require the establishment of trusted partnerships at all levels of the business including steering committees, project teams and operational leaders, executives and as well as external partners.

About You

  • Significant experience in chemical, mining or heavy industry with a minimum of 10-years' experience in Project and Project Delivery roles.
  • Proven Project delivery and portfolio management with experience in managing Projects of greater than $10M and portfolios in excess of $50M.
  • Demonstrated experience working with large matrix style organisations across multiple regions
  • Leadership style that is inclusive, collaborative and value setting
  • Passion for coaching, mentoring and enabling employee to be their best daily
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Civil).
  • Project Management Systems, SAP, Microsoft Office Suite
