About the role

As our Contract Engineer, working for the Contract Manager you will provide management of specific operations in the department, deliver on contract requirements, optimize resource use and achieve target results. Day to day you will:
  • Liaise and coordinate with the paving crew and any subcontractors needed to complete projects
  • Ensure effective cost management by making sure all pre-costings of plans are accurate
  • Contribute to the production of project methodology within programs including budgets
  • Be responsible for assisting in the preparation of monthly progress claims and financial analysis of project specific

About you:

You're going to need a proven willingness and capability to learn and bring your strong analytical thinking capabilities and be a great listener with a meticulous eye for detail. You will also have:
  • A tertiary engineering qualification - desirable but not essential
  • Some experience or exposure in using RAMM Contractor
  • Strong interpersonal skills - to be applied to all internal and external relationships
  • A positive attitude and commitment to providing a high quality of service
  • Hold a full current driver's licence
