  • A competitive salary between CAD130,000 - CAD180,000 (dependent on experience) and annual bonus
  • The opportunity to join our amazing Deswik community where we have fun adapting quickly, challenging the status quo and pushing technical boundaries
  • Learn, share and explore mine planning knowledge globally with our team of well over 100 mining consultants
  • Flexible, hybrid schedule
  • The opportunity to work closely with our software developers scoping, building, testing and using unique mine planning product offerings
  • A dynamic role that'll see you constantly building and broadening your skillset
  • The Deswik community at your back to provide support as you elevate mining operations to the next level
  • You will be trusted to do your job and have support when you need it. We're run by engineers who 'get it' and are dedicated to fostering a positive work environment for our teams

  • 7+ years' experience in underground mining as a Mining Engineer
  • Operational experience in site-based roles
  • Excellent mine planning software skills (Deswik software a distinct advantage)
  • Demonstrated experience in feasibility studies, mine planning and optimisation strategies, schedule optimisation and scheduling
  • An expert Deswik user
  • A flair for consulting and managing customer relationships
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • A passion for innovation and a desire to grow and learn
  • P.Eng or PE designation would be beneficial but not essential
