The candidate should be well-versed with the domestic mining & metal scenario and should have an understanding of the following (demonstrated by past work experience):
Sector related
- Policy and Regulatory Scenario in the mining sector (coal/ major minerals/ minor minerals) including end user industries especially power generation, cement and steel
- Transaction Advisory Assistance to Government Agencies in auctions of mineral blocks
- Due Diligence/ Financial Modelling/ Financial Appraisals/ Pre-Feasibility Analysis of mining projects
- Transaction Advisory Assistance for selection of Mine Developer cum Operator (MDO)/ Joint Venture Partner
- Bid Advisory and associated modeling for minerals auctions/ MDO opportunities
