About Alkane
Costerfield Operations, owned and operated by Alkane Resources Ltd, is situated in Central Victoria, east of Bendigo and surrounded by numerous towns within a 50km radius, offering a variety of residential options.
Our current operation runs an underground mine and processing plant that is responsible for producing gold and antimony. The mine's workforce consists of over 250 permanent employees who hold various roles in professional, technical, mining, processing, and trades.

Requirements
About The Role
Reporting to the Technical Services Superintendent the Underground Surveyor will play a key role in supporting mine development and production activities by delivering accurate and reliable survey data. Working alongside mining engineers, geologists, and operational personnel, you will contribute directly to the success of underground mining operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct underground surveys using industry-leading technology and equipment.
• Perform mark-ups and set-outs for mine development activities.
• Prepare and process survey data, plans, and reports.
• Maintain accurate survey records and compliance documentation.
• Provide technical support to operational and planning teams.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high professional standard.
About You
Our new Mine Surveyor will have the following experience, skills and abilities:
• Relevant qualification in Surveying
• Well-developed communications and interpersonal skills
• An innovative thinker
• Data entry, QAQC and validation experience
• Interest or experience in database management, quality and integrity improvement
• Self-motivated, detail and quality focused
• Ability to react to change efficiently
• Experience in U/G metalliferous mining
• Experience in using Deswik software Leica TS16 and using survey drones
• UAV RePL licence
