About the Position

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Executive Assistant for a Local Government Position in the Eastern Goldfields Region. The successful candidate will contribute to a professional work environment by providing a helpful, efficient and courteous service to all internal and external customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be required to perform administration processes, and organisational support to the CEO and Shire President. This will include, however not be limited to the following duties:
  • Provide confidential administrative and personal assistance
  • Arrange meetings and functions
  • Receive telephone and counter enquiries and initiate appropriate action
  • Arrange appointments and assist in co-ordinating attendance at various functions
  • Research and prepare confidential documentation and information

Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a previous position
  • Advanced time management and organisational skills
  • Developed record management skills
  • Working knowledge of Local Government
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times
