The purpose of the Day Services Operator role is to safely and effectively operate within multiple areas of the Cowal Gold Processing Plant.

About the role
The Day Services Operator role offers an exciting opportunity to join the Processing team to ensure the smooth and safe production process is constantly maintained. Key result areas in this role include:

• Working closely with Metallurgy, Maintenance and Processing Operators where required
• Daily reagent handling and mixing
• Maintaining Tailings storage facility and completing inspections
• Unloading reagent trucks
• Gold room relief as required
• Water management
• Operate RO water treatment plant

About our Operation
Our Cowal gold operation is an open pit site and is located 40km North East of West Wyalong in NSW. This site is residential meaning each of our 400 site employees return to their own home each night rather than a camp. West Wyalong has many schools, restaurants and sporting teams and is close to several regional centres. Our rosters are designed to help you create a work-life balance and with our recent mine life extension until 2032, it offers increased job security.

About you
As a Day Services Operator, you will have previous experience in gold processing plants. It is important that you possess the ability to work independently in a challenging environment and have / demonstrate:

• Mobile equipment experience such as telehandler, skid steer, loader, forklift.
• Highly developed time management and organisational skills
• Basic computer skills
