Our Client is a global leader in engineering, design and manufacturing technologies for the oil and gas industry. Working on both Onshore & Offshore as well as Subsea projects in some of the most remote locations in the world.

The Field Service Specialist II will report into the Field Service Manager working in the workshop to carry out the installation, commissioning and maintenance of products.

Responsibilities may include but will not be limited to:

  • Participate in Extended Factory Acceptance Testing (EFAT), System Integration Testing (SIT)/ Site Receipt Testing (SRT)
  • Complete Filed Service Orders and checklists ensuring customer has reviewed and signed off
  • Provide feedback on maintenance and spares usage
  • Review procedures and drawings of equipment, carry out pre-job inspection of equipment
  • Raise documentation of non- conformance
  • Maintain offshore equipment ensuring they are fit for purpose
  • Investigate and diagnose any deficiency with installation
  • Be a liaison between company onshore and customers during installation
  • Complete Service reports, SQ’s, FPR’s, EWR, EOWR
The qualifications/certifications required include:

  • Mechanical Trade Certification
  • BOSIET, FOET, OGUK Medical
  • Current Australian Drivers License
  • At least 2-3 years’ experience working as Field Service Technician level II, rebuilding subsea equipment (Christmas Trees, Wellheads and Tubing Hangers)
  • Able to work autonomously
  • Previous offshore experience is a must
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and procedures
  • Full Australian Working Rights
  • Computer literate

  • Salary base + daily offshore allowance + 9.5% super
  • This position could involve long periods working in the field or offshore (minimum 16 days a calendar month
