Job Description

About the Opportunity

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of underground mining and ground support projects, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, client satisfaction and strong leadership of site-based teams.

You will play a key role in managing project execution from mobilisation through to completion while maintaining Redpath's high standards of safety, quality and performance.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage underground mining and ground support projects.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget.
  • Manage commercial performance, forecasting and project reporting.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Oversee project planning, resource allocation and operational execution.
  • Lead and mentor multidisciplinary site teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, contractual and company requirements.
  • Identify and manage project risks and opportunities.


Qualifications

About You

To be successful, you will bring:
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within the underground mining industry.
  • Demonstrated success managing ground support contracts and/or underground mining projects.
  • Strong understanding of underground mining methods, project delivery and contract management.
  • Experience managing project budgets, financial reporting and commercial outcomes.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and client relationship management skills.
  • Strong leadership capability with a focus on team development and safety culture.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering, Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
  • Current Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel as required.
