About the role

We are currently looking for an experienced Haulage Supervisor to join our road transport team at Koolyanobbing on a 2/1 roster.

Reporting to the Haulage Superintendent, this role will be responsible for providing high quality guidance and leadership to the haulage teams, through mentoring, coaching and for ensuring a safe work environment.

We're looking for someone who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and enjoys a challenging yet rewarding work environment. You will be responsible for;
  • Organise and schedule the haulage crew to meet daily production targets
  • Conduct effective daily pre-start meetings
  • Management of production and mechanical break-down issues
  • Accountability for providing comprehensive reporting to the Management Team on production achievements, challenges and issues
  • Provide effective guidance, coaching and mentoring to site personnel
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Maintain and foster a working environment which prompts safety in all that we do, whilst also providing outstanding service
  • Development of working relationships with key stakeholders on site.

What you'll bring to the team
  • Previous experience working in haulage and working towards production targets
  • MC Driver skills a must to draw on for effective Haulage Supervision
  • Demonstrated strong problem solving, lateral thinking and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal with an ability to import knowledge, coach and mentor others
  • Intermediate computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
