About the Role

Ongoing opportunities exist for skilled and experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters who will contribute to the successful operations of Fortescue Metals Group's Cloudbreak Mine Site.

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will collaborate with the Maintenance team to perform mechanical scheduled maintenance and breakdown fault finding on Ancillary Mobile Plant.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Providing safe, effective and timely mechanical maintenance on all CAT equipment including but not limited to;
  • 789 dump trucks
  • 994H & 993K loaders
  • 16M & 24M Graders
  • D10 & D11 Dozers

  • Trade Certificate Heavy Diesel Fitter
  • High Risk Licence: Forklift, Dogging, Basic Rigging (Highly Desirable)
  • Working at Heights (Highly Desirable)
  • Heavy Vehicle or Plant experience
  • Sound communication skills
  • Demonstrated team skills
  • Valid Driver's Licence
  • Current Police Clearance within 6 months (or willing to obtain)
  • Able to pass full medical
  • Rights to work in Australia
