Key Responsibilities
- Operate the articulated fuel & lube truck in a safe and efficient way in accordance with all relevantlegislation, company policies and procedures.
- Perform field level risk assessments.
- Clean and lubricate the motor grader; refill fluids.
- Complete logbooks and daily reports on safety issues and production.
- Use two-way-radio and horn signals to communicate with other operators and ensure safety.
- Use an articulated fuel & lube truck according to operating practices, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain winter roads.
- Manage water.
- Monitor gauges, and other indicators toensure the motor grader is working properly;reportdiscrepancies.
Required Experience and Skill Set
- 2+ years of experience as a fuel and lube technician at a mine site.
Job Conditions
- Experience in operating an articulated offroad truck is an asset.
- Able to read, understand, and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.
- Willing to perform repetitive tasks.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to adapt and work in an inclusive work environment.
- This position is based in Geraldton, Ontario.
