About the Site

The Dyno Nobel Moranbah Plant is a fully integrated Ammonium Nitrate complex based in Central Queensland. The facility comprises Ammonia, Nitric Acid and Ammonium Nitrate plants plus infrastructure, utilities, power generation and housing to support the permanent workforce.

The Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager this role will be responsible to lead the maintenance team and ensure that site equipment and systems are maintained to achieve the desired plant reliability. Your responsibilities will be:

  • Positively contribute to a Zero Harm safety culture
  • Manage a multidiscipline team performing planned and reactive maintenance work
  • Review work requests, participate in planning meetings and provide feedback to the planning department
  • Contributing new and innovative perspectives to a professional and efficient team
  • Manage the performance of the crew members, whilst fostering a coaching relationship
  • Provide developmental support to crew members in pursuit of skill growth and fostering engagement
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders


About you
  • Significant maintenance experience in a chemical manufacturing plant or similar heavy industry maintenance environment in a supervision role
  • Trade qualification in Mechanical or Electrical engineering will be highly regarded
  • Expertise in SAP PM is highly advantageous
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills
