Our client is currently developing a world class lithium deposit in the Goldfields region of Western Australia. On their behalf we are seeking the services of an experienced Manager Processing to ensure the mineral processing function of the refinery safely delivers a quality end-product in line with the execution plan and project schedule.

Reporting to the General Manager Operations - Refinery this role will:
  • Ensure construction, commissioning and operation is planned to meet the schedule
  • Assess plant and equipment requirements and plan for delivery and commissioning
  • Plan and monitor work and labour schedule
  • Monitor and improve process refinery performance
  • Provide technical input to the refinery operations
  • Ensure the development and delivery of operations and maintenance plans
  • Ensure the manning levels are sufficient to achieve the production schedules
  • Review, monitor and audit consultants and contractor performance
  • Be responsible for progress reporting, cost control and forecasting.
Ideally, we a looking for a Processing specialist with:
  • A Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering degree
  • Several years' experience with minerals processing within refinery environment
  • Experience in the assessment, evaluation and selection of contractors
  • Experience in transitioning from commissioning to operations
  • Experience with capital works and asset management projects
  • Experience in lithium processing is beneficial but not essential.
