Reporting to the Senior Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing the safe and effective delivery of survey services to the underground mine and surface operations. You will gain exposure to a wide variety of tasks from underground development & production, void monitoring of stopes and vertical openings, HD scanning for condition monitoring and GPS surveys utilising the latest technology.

The ideal applicant should possess:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Surveying and underground mining experience, registration with the Surveyors Board of Queensland as a Surveyor is desirable;
  • Previous experience with Leica Totalstations and GPS, scanning experience with Riegl and Leica is desirable but not essential;
  • Proficiency in Surpac or Deswik (highly desirable), I-Site, Cyclone and 3D Reshaper;
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders;
  • Previous exposure to monitoring systems will be highly desirable but not essential.

The remuneration for this role can range from $107,000 - $115,000. This permanent full-time position will be offered residentially in Cloncurry, DIDO from Mount Isa, or FIFO from Brisbane, Cairns or Townsville. The roster worked comprises of eight (8) days on, six (6) days off, working twelve (12) hour shifts.
