Ravensworth Complex comprises of the Ravensworth Open Cut and Coal Handling Preparation Plant that provides high quality coal for the export market. The operation has approval to mine over 14Mtpa, with a mine life to 2034 with potential continuation opportunities. As an integral member of the Technical Services team, reporting to a Senior Mining Engineer, you will support the Mine Planning process with specific focus on the scheduling, design and coordination of the mines truck and shovel operations.

To be successful in this role you will have relevant tertiary qualifications in mining, civil or survey. Mine planning experience in an open-cut coal environment and prior use of Vulcan, Deswik, Leica FMS, and MinVu is preferred. Your strengths will include a pro-active attitude to safety, strong problem solving skills, an ability to work within a focused team and solid communication skills.
