Intermountain Electronics, Inc. is seeking a Rebuild/Repair Supervisor at our Price, UT facility. IE is a leading provider of custom engineered and manufactured process and electrical systems to the mining, oil & gas, and power/utility industries in North America. IE's turnkey products are generally mobile - mounted on skids or in portable e-houses. Our products include portable power/generators, substations, electrical control rooms (MCCs/VFDs/switchgear), water-flood/disposal buildings, compressor skids, metering equipment, mining power skids, data centers and other products used in a variety of energy sectors

The Rebuild/Repair Superisor key duties are heavily focused on equipment used in the mining industry and include:

* Day-to-day supervision of employees and floor management of rebuild/repair operations
* Attend weekly Production/Scheduling meetings - look ahead on scheduling with input from Manufacturing Manager to best direct workforce priority jobs
* Provide training and direction to team lead(s), assemblers and technicians; coach and make effective suggestions and recommendations to improve employee performance and develop career paths
* Ensures employees are fully trained in all aspects of their jobs and provides training where it is required to ensure safety, quality, and productivity
* Responsible for department efficiency and productivity levels in meeting corporate objectives
* Maintain and generate production reports
* Determine reparability and cost to repair equipment, refurbish equipment and, replace defective parts.
* Tear down, clean, test and install electrical components, switch gears, electrical switches and electronic instruments and devices, such as programmable process controllers, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), data loggers, relays, breakers and other electronic instrumentation equipment used in the manufacture and repair of electrical power stations and equipment.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose cause of electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of electrical equipment and make necessary repairs.
* Conduct electrical testing and recommend or initiate modification or replacement of equipment which fails to meet acceptable operating standards.

Experience and Skills
* High School Diploma plus five years of industrial electrical experience working with 3-phase power as well as high, medium, and low voltage applications
* Electrical experience troubleshooting, repairing, and working on mine related equipment
* Two years supervisory experience with an emphasis on teaching, coaching and mentoring employees
* Working knowledge of MSHA and NEC electrical codes and applications
* Ability to read, interpret, understand electrical schematics/ drawings and specification charts and make direct application to project set up and final product.
* Extensive knowledge and application of electrical safety procedures and processes
* Extensive knowledge and experience using various tools and testing equipment, i.e. - wire strippers, crimpers, drill, overhead cranes, forklift, multimeter, Volt-Ohm meters, Hi-Pot, etc.
* Must possess good computer skills and experience using ERP systems.
* Must have successful work performance, demonstrate an ability to work well with others, exercise sound judgment and display initiative and innovation on the job
* Strong organizational and time management skills
