An exciting opportunity exists for a commercially astute professional to oversee the full contract lifecycle across a dynamic mining operation. From tendering and contract negotiation through to performance management, claims resolution and commercial governance, you'll play a pivotal role in protecting the organisation's interests, driving value for money and ensuring contracts are delivered safely, efficiently and in full compliance with industry regulations.
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Law, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- 5-10 years' experience in contract management within the mining, construction or large-scale industrial sectors.
- Proven expertise in commercial contract negotiation, tendering, procurement, risk management and contractor performance.
- Strong understanding of mining legislation, governance and contract administration (FIDIC experience advantageous).
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans, with a valid Code 8 driver's licence and medical fitness for mine site work.
- Commercially minded, analytical and highly professional, with excellent negotiation, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
