Glencore Coal Assets Australia is one of Australia's largest coal producers with 16 operational open cut and underground mines across 14 complexes, producing over 103 million tonnes of saleable thermal and coking coal per annum.

An opportunity exists for an Operator Awareness Monitoring Centre Supervisor based at the newly established Operator Awareness Monitoring Centre (OAMC) at West Wallsend, NSW. Reporting directly to the Regional Fleet Technology Superintendent, you will be responsible for providing supervision, co-ordination and support to the on-shift OAMC Officers, to ensure that the performance of the Operator Awareness System (OAS) event monitoring, system health and other targets are achieved across all GCAA open cut operations.

To be successful in the role you will have knowledge of SQL database reporting techniques including PowerBI and/or MinVu. You will also have the ability to work in a high pressure and competing priority environment and utilise your expertise to provide support to enable the GCAA business to function at optimum efficiency and effectiveness.

You will be able to demonstrate good interpersonal, cooperative and facilitation skills as part of interfacing with various levels of management, external bodies and agencies and apply empowering leadership qualities, including good written and communication skills and development of others. Your intellect coupled with motivation will drive performance within the business.
