Title: People Logistics Shutdown Supervisor

Work location: Perth (with ad hoc site travel)

Roster: Mondays to Fridays

Fixed-Term 12 Month Fortescue Contract

Reporting to the People Logistics Superintendent - Operations, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of up to 10 Shutdown Logistics Coordinators in this Perth based role.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Help maintain a high quality and consistent level of service delivery within the Shutdown Logistics team through accurate and timely reconciliation of daily statistics (processing times, individual performance and team performance)
  • Hold monthly customer meetings with shutdown team, vendors and integrated planning to understand resource, transport and accommodation demand
  • Forecast flight and accommodation requirements for a 3, 6 and 12 month period and provide a plan to aircraft and catering providers
  • Contract manage airline carriers and travel management company to ensure they meet company KPIs
  • Manage and maintain a training plan for the Shutdown Logistics team to ensure service delivery is consistent across the business
  • Complete shutdown logistics reporting after each shut to show performance, trends and improvements over each site
  • Travel each month across 4 operation locations to meet with Shutdown stakeholders, provide support to the team and suggest improvements

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in a leadership position
  • Strong analytic skills and a high attention to detail
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Excellent customer service skillset with experience dealing with multiple customers
  • Provide leadership by coordinating and motivating the team by setting daily KPIs and deadlines
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
  • Exposure to managing multiple and competing priorities
