Due to continued growth we now have the opportunity for a Projects Planner/Scheduler to join our Projects Department.

This full-time permanent position is based in our Perth CDB head office.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work with Project Managers and Coordinators to develop and maintain detailed resource loaded schedules of projects
  • Integrate multiple schedules into a master project schedule, base line, status, and perform measurement baseline
  • Develop and maintain summary level schedule reports
  • Gather and analyse information to prepare reports on the progress of projects
  • Frequent on-site visits to review construction progress
  • Support the project management team in the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of projects, including dashboard maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and monitor potential scheduling problems
  • Facilitate and participate in weekly schedule reviews
  • Training of Supervisors, Superintendents & Project Manager to learn, or increase skills in, project scheduling company wide

To be successful in this role you will have/be:

  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience using Primavera P6, MS Project and MS Excel
  • Extremely proficient in MS Office
  • Superior interpersonal and demonstrated facilitation skills, including the ability to motivate and influence others, build effective interpersonal relationships, and be able to foster and contribute to a positive and productive team environment
  • Creative and innovative with assignments.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability
  • Able to embrace and participate in change initiatives
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and writing skills, including writing functional and technical specifications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree/experience in project management and/or engineering will be highly regarded
