With residential opportunity available at our operation which are located just outside of Orange, NSW. We offer a unique opportunity for employees and their families to enjoy a mining career all whilst living in a major regional centre only three hours away from Sydney, NSW.

Who we’re looking for

Working within a dedicated team, you will be responsible for the creation and implementation of key procedures required for the successful and safe Engineering processes involved with the project. . The current roster for this role will be 5 days on, 2 days off (Mon- Fri) and be residential.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and maintaining accurate, accessible and easy-to-read Safe-Work Procedure documents and multi-media
  • Working alongside subject matter experts to ensure documents and communications meet all requirements.
  • Adding visual information (flowcharts, photos, videos etc.)
  • Development of new and improvement of existing training material relating to hard rock development mining
  • Extracting the information needed from subject matter experts, existing material, etc.

We are looking for qualified, safety focused and team-oriented individuals who have:
  • Experience in writing HSE and operational material for the mining industry or in a training specialist capacity, where procedure delivery is a key part of your role
  • Knowledge and experience in change management when rolling out new programs and standards
  • Advanced training in content management or single-sourcing software tools
  • Good general knowledge of health and safety processes, including risk management, incident management, contractor management, governance and auditing and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Excellent verbal, written and consultative communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail; ability to prioritise and manage tasks in a team environment
