With residential and selected DIDO and FIFO opportunities available at our operations which are located just outside of Orange, NSW. Who we’re looking for

As a Project Specialist (Mechanical/Electrical), you will be accountable for playing a key part in establishing and maintaining compliance with the Mechanical/Electrical aspects of the development project.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Mechanical/electrical project expert advice to support underground mining activity
  • Ensure key requirements within the site material risk management plan are defined and effectively communicated
  • Assess projects from both a technical and operational perspective and provide recommendations for execution across the development
  • Liaise and collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide any guidance or support with implementation and safety procedures, across high risk electrical and mechanical areas

We are looking for qualified, safety focused and team-oriented individuals who have:
  • A strong attitude and commitment to workplace health and safety
  • A dual degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
  • Proven and extensive experience in a similar role within an underground hard rock mining environment.
  • Demonstrated experience working across various operations and projects, establishing key compliance, standards and legislative processes
  • Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and stakeholder management skills, in order to collaborate with various teams who are part of the development expansion
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage risk and work under pressure
